Skydive Arizona

The perfect place to skydive between Phoenix & Tucson. A world-class skydiving center with resort-like amenities.

Why Choose Us?

The moment you arrive at Skydive Arizona, you’ll notice there is no other skydiving center like us. Our fleet of skydiving aircraft is the world’s largest, with full-time pilots and mechanics in support.

Our instructors undergo rigorous training and are among some of the most experienced skydivers in the world. We are host to many world records and are happy to invite spectators to watch, grab a bite to eat at the Bent Prop, and bring the kids to an indoor skydive. When you’re here, you’re a part of the community. Come see what we’re all about!

Our Staff

Tandem Instructors

To become an instructor at Skydive Arizona, you’ll need a minimum of 1,000 skydives. Most of our instructors have multiple thousands of jumps!

Aircrew

Skydive Arizona has a full-time staff of pilots and aircraft mechanics to maintain our fleet of skydiving aircraft.

There is also a crew of safety officers who constantly monitor & communicate current weather conditions to the pilots.

Our Aircraft

Skydive Arizona has the largest skydiving fleet in the world, including five Twin Otters and seven Skyvans. These twin-engine turbine aircraft hold 23 passengers each!

We are the only skydiving facility in Arizona that does tandem skydives out of Skyvan airplanes.

Skydive Arizona’s planes can ascend to 13,500ft in less than fifteen minutes, compared to other smaller skydiving airplanes, which can take up to 30 minutes in the desert heat!

We have absolute unmatched skydiving lift capacity in the world — which is why more world records are done here than anywhere else.

Our Equipment

All of our student and tandem parachutes are packed by FAA Parachute Riggers — it’s not required, but we take the extra step to ensure our equipment is the best-maintained in the industry.

All of our gear is regularly inspected and repaired by an FAA Master Parachute Rigger.

Our Landing Areas

Like an oasis in the desert, Skydive Arizona maintains three grass landing areas (it sounds funny — but grass is hard to come by in Arizona!).

The grass landing areas make for fewer slide-ins and dusty butts.

Keeping the dirt off our parachute equipment is also a high priority, and grass landings help keep our gear in tip-top shape.

Our Facilities

The Bent Prop Saloon & Cookery is located on-site and is open to the public. After your jump, come by for a wide selection of beverages, burgers, burritos, salads, and wraps.

Swimming is available for customers at our small pool. Feel free to bring a towel and take a dip after your jump!

Lodging is available at our community bunkhouse, and there is a small innn just around the corner. Need something more posh? There are several AirBnBs nearby as well.

Indoor Skydiving is also available on site for everyone who wants to experience the thrill of free fall without ever leaving the ground.
