What is Mixed Formation Skydiving?

MFS is a competitive discipline in which two skydivers make a series of formations together in all orientations of body flight (vertical head up, vertical head down, horizontal belly up, horizontal belly down). The series of formations is predetermined and the skydivers are judged on how many times they are able to complete each formation in the time allotted for the skydive. In this photo, you can see Emily and Ali of team "Sole Sisters" as they exit the plane in their first formation. You can learn more about this discipline by watching the linked video!
