Skydive Arizona is a big drop zone. No - a GINORMOUS drop zone with a lot of people from visiting to local jumpers, to staff, pilots, instructors, ground crew, maintenance, manifest to teams, event organizers and load organizers!!! The Featured Friday series is aimed at getting to know the people that make Skydive Arizona work and rock

In this week's series, Skydive Arizona is featuring a girl who moved all the way here from Virginia with some mega goals. Meet, Rose Moeser!!

When & where did you start jumping?
First Jump (Tandem) August  2009 Skydive Orange, VA

What/who inspired you to move to AZ?
My parents.  They are the ultimate adventurers and have always followed their dreams.  My dad took me to the DZ for my first tandem and my mom and I did our AFF progression together.

What motivates you in the sport?
My main inspiration/ coach/ best friend is my fiance, Wade!  Wade pushes me and encourages me to grow in all aspects from body flight to canopy control.

What are your other hobbies besides skydiving and how did those hobbies become a part of your life?
Running, hiking, cycling, cross country skiing, just about anything outdoors!

How did you become interested in becoming a chiropractor?
I had running related injuries in elementary school.  My parents took me to a chiropractor for treatment and with the right care I was able to get back into my sport and compete all the way through college.  I have always liked working with athletes of all kinds and it was a dream of mine to complete a doctoral program so it was a natural fit.

You just opened a practice at the DZ, tell us about it:
I am really excited to be treating patients at my favorite place to skydive!  My practice focuses on correcting movement dysfunction through joint and muscular manipulation.  Active Release Technique, Superficial Dry Needling, and Kinesiotaping are a few of the treatment protocols I use in my office.

What is 1 thing as a chiropractor you’d like skydivers to know about?
I believe your health is your greatest asset and the single greatest investment you can make.

Speed Round (quickly choose without thought):
First load or sunset load?
Sunset = )

Boogie or a Camp?
Camp!  I love the focused energy and skill progression of camps.

Open, Advanced or Intermediate?
Advanced for sure.  I competed on a 4 way pick up VFS team in the Advanced category this past Nationals and the most rewarding part was the camaraderie between teams. They were so helpful and encouraging, I would highly recommend it!

Beer or wine?  All of the above!

Anything else you’d like to add?
I feel very lucky to call skydive Arizona my home drop zone!  I am excited to combine my love of skydiving with my passion for helping people.
