The fourth annual Patriots Boogie was held July 6th and 7th at Skydive Arizona. The Patriots Boogie is designed to raise money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). The SOWF has been caring for the families of fallen and wounded military special operations forces since 1980, most notably by providing college scholarships to the children of these heroes. The $25 registration fee for the Boogie was matched by Skydive Arizona and donated to the SOWF along with $2 from every sport skydive and $20 from every tandem skydive made that weekend. Tickets were also available for two raffles, one to win a hour of tunnel time from SkyVenture Arizona and one to win a three hour tattoo sitting with David Winland of Judas Custom Tattoo and Social Club. All proceeds from the raffles were also donated to the SOWF bringing the total fundraising effort for 2013 to $7,704.
