Wounded Warrior Project Fundraiser

Early Thursday morning May 23rd at Skydive Arizona, Ernie Torres set a new World Record for the number of pine boards broken in free fall. The event was a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-project organization whose stated mission is to "honor and empower wounded warriors" (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org).

Skydive Arizona donated the aircraft and skydivers for the event. Ernie was support by members of Arizona Arsenal, Arizona Airspeed, instructors from Adventures in Skydiving and SkyVenture Arizona, and other highly experience local skydivers. Ernie was able to break 12 pine boards, beating out the standing Guinness World Record by five boards.
