United Parachute Technologies, also known as UPT, is a leading skydiving equipment manufacturer trusted by jumpers, instructors, riggers, and drop zones around the world. As the maker of Vector, Sigma II, Vector SE, and other advanced harness systems, UPT plays an important role in modern skydiving equipment and training.
Who Is United Parachute Technologies?
United Parachute Technologies is a DeLand, Florida-based manufacturer of advanced skydiving harness systems for sport, tandem, and military use. The company is best known for its Vector family of containers, including the Vector 3, Sigma II, Vector SE, and Mutant systems.
UPT’s story is closely tied to some of the most important equipment innovations in modern skydiving. The company’s background includes the legacy of Bill Booth and Relative Workshop, whose designs helped shape the way skydivers use modern container systems today. According to UPT, the Vector 3 was introduced in 1994 as the first FreeFly rig on the market, designed for the demands of modern skydiving disciplines.
Today, UPT continues to serve skydivers, riggers, instructors, tandem operations, and professional skydiving organizations with equipment, manuals, order forms, service bulletins, rigging resources, and product support.
Why Skydive Arizona Trusts Them
Skydive Arizona operates at a level where equipment and experience matter every day. With high-volume operations, a large aircraft fleet, year-round activity, major events, licensed jumper traffic, student training, and tandem skydiving, the drop zone depends on partners that understand the demands of real-world skydiving operations.
UPT fits that standard. Their equipment is built for the sport’s progression, from everyday sport jumping to tandem operations and professional training environments. Their product support, rigging resources, and long history in harness design make them a natural partner for a drop zone where skydivers come to train, progress, compete, and experience one of the most respected skydiving destinations in the world.
