Congratulations to all of the teams who competed at the US National Skydiving Championships in Perris last week. We’re very proud of all of the AZ jumpers who performed so incredibly, including Arizona Airspeed, Arizona Anthem, Fliteshop, AXIS Flight School, Ranch TNT SDAZ, Mandatory Fun and, perhaps most notably, our very own SHAWN HILL, who took home gold with Airspeed in 10 way. Awesome!
Here’s what’s coming up next at Skydive Arizona:
Upcoming Events
3-4 October – Brennie Bunch
World Champion Brenn Richards is back with more FS fun, where you’re sure to learn loads thanks to her world-class coaching and heaps of experience. Saturday will be a more structured bigway event, open to anyone comfortable flying in groups of 6 or more, and Sunday is her funday where registration is open to anyone comfortable jumping in a group.
3-4 October – Flocking Skills Camp
Join Taylor Buffington, Andres Mesa and Matt Currin in a 3 day camp designed to develop your flocking skills in both static and dynamic flows. This event is open to anyone who wants to learn about flocking or improve their existing skills.
Airspeed Team Training Through October
US National Champions Arizona Airspeed return to their training schedule in October with camps planned for 5-9 and 12-16. Join us for plenty of midweek skydiving, and share the plane with the new USA champs!
17-24 October – FAI World Skydiving Championships
We’re excited to once again host the world’s best skydivers in this global competition. Whether you’re a participating athlete or a spectator, this is an incredible event to be a part of and there will be plenty to watch and enjoy – along with our regular jump program continuing alongside.
26-30 October – TBS World Record Attempt
Formation skydivers from across the globe will join us right here at SDAZ as Arizona Airspeed and The Power Games aim to achieve yet another FS world record. Much like the world meet, this is a great event to be part of or to watch – and regular jumping will continue alongside, too.
31 October – 2 November – Halloween Boogie
Join us for the first boogie of our busy winter season! There will be top-class organizers, specialty aircraft, a tunnel glow jam and the infamous costume contest, featuring some incredible prizes. Keep watching for more info coming very soon!
