2008 US National Parachuting Championships Info

Skydive Arizona is hosting the 2008 USPA National Parachuting Championships. Up to three disciplines will be competing simultaneously.

R/P signifies registration and practice. C signifies Competition. Medals will be awarded at the completion of events. The Banquet will take place on Saturday night. CF will be shortened by one day if 8-way speed is terminated.

Costs
- Every competitor or alternate pays a general registration fee of $50 for facilities, banquet, shirt, etc.
- Videographers are considered competitors.

After that, cost is entry fee per event, plus jumps.
Jump costs are based on a fuel cost of less than $3.00 per gallon. In the event that fuel prices continue rise above that point, our bid allows us to raise jump costs in proportion.

2,500 – 4,000 feet: $15
4,001 – 9,000 feet: $19
9,001 – 13,000 feet: $21

All air-to-air videographers are considered competitors.

FS:       4-way - $70 plus jumps per competitor
            8-way – $70 plus jumps per competitor
            10-way - $60 plus jumps per competitor
            16-way - $60 plus jumps per competitor
           
CF:      4-seq: $100 plus jumps per competitor
4-rot: $100 plus jumps per competitor
8-: $100 plus jumps per competitor
2-: $100 plus jumps per competitor

AE:      Freefly: $75 plus jumps per competitor
Freestyle: $150 plus jumps per competitor
Skysurf: $150 plus jumps per competitor

S&A:   Accuracy: $125 plus jumps per competitor
Style: $125 plus jumps per competitor

VRW:    $100 plus jumps (based on a judge panel of no more than five total) per competitor

In the event of major revisions to the event rules such as adding or dropping events, changing number of rounds, or changing the size of judging panels, we reserve the right to negotiate with the Competition Committee to revise event dates and fees.
